This policy explains how Modlin Sales Grade handles information when you use clover.modlin.ai or contact support. For privacy questions and requests, email yusuf@servc.io.
Information used to create your report
When you connect Clover, we receive your merchant identifier and authorization tokens. We read merchant information to verify the connection and determine the reporting currency. We retrieve payment and refund records to calculate daily net sales, averages, standard deviation, and a grade.
These records include transaction identifiers, amounts, currencies, timestamps, payment status, and refund information. Clover responses can also include merchant, employee, tender, and limited card transaction details. The dashboard displays aggregate sales rather than individual card or customer details. We do not ask you to enter a Clover password or payment card number on this website.
How information is used
We use connected merchant data to authenticate access, retrieve and calculate the requested report, and investigate reporting or security problems. We do not sell merchant or personal information, use transaction records for advertising, or add advertising trackers to this app.
If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use that correspondence to respond and resolve your request. Please omit passwords, authorization tokens, full card numbers, and customer information that is unnecessary for the issue.
Cookies and storage
The app uses an essential session cookie containing a random session identifier. OAuth tokens are kept on the server and are never stored in that cookie or browser local storage. The cookie is required to connect your Clover account and access the report.
The app keeps sessions in server memory. A connected session is valid for up to eight hours; pending login attempts expire after ten minutes. Expired sessions are removed when the server next handles a request. Logging out removes the current session and its tokens immediately. Restarting the app clears its in-memory sessions.
Payment records are processed in memory for the report; this app does not write them to a sales database. Logging out does not delete records held by Clover. Your browser may continue displaying a report already loaded until you leave or reload the page.
Hosting, logs, and support records
Hosting and email providers process information needed to operate the website and support service. Infrastructure may record request information such as IP addresses, request URLs, timestamps, browser details, and errors. Support correspondence and operational logs have separate retention from the eight-hour app session; that session limit does not apply to them.
We limit use and disclosure to operating and securing the service, handling support requests, and meeting applicable legal obligations. Information may be disclosed when legally required. We use HTTPS for the production website and restrict sales access to authenticated sessions, but no online service can promise absolute security.
Your choices and requests
You can log out to remove the current app session. To withdraw the app's ongoing Clover authorization, remove or disconnect the app through your Clover account as well. Clover manages the original merchant and payment records under its own policies.
To request access, correction, or deletion of information held by this service, email yusuf@servc.io. We may need to verify your authority over the merchant account. Tell us whether your request concerns app access, support correspondence, or another record. We will explain any information that must be retained for security or legal reasons. Customers asking about a purchase should contact the merchant first; we can assist the merchant with requests relating to this app.
Policy updates
Updates will appear on this page with a revised date. We will call attention to material changes through the website before applying them where required.
